Another day!

Dark black clouds cover the sky

Thunder rumbles, lightning flashes

Down comes the rain

So thick so ear deafening

But within minutes its all but over

Left behind are the wet roads, the glistening blades of grass

The leaves on the trees shining, reflecting the tiny droplets

As the sun emerges and shines upon us again

And  I sit here watching nature enfold another day

Enjoying the freshness in the air

As a burst of thoughts cross my mind

I am thankful for another day

To admire what  transcends infront of me

These small moments of sheer bliss

To soak in the fresh air and delight in the glorious sunshine

Of yet another day on this earth

Thoughts

The years that pass me by are filled with joys and sorrows

But nothing beats the loneliness that fills my being

It's funny though, how  my life feels full on

There is a deep void, an abyss that grows deeper

I sit and wonder what is it am I missing

Why isn't life as content as it should be

Then I realize the greatest contentment one feels is being connected with a fellow being

Not the kind that comes with the sharing of just a wedding ring,

Or the kind that fulfills physical needs,

There is more to every relationship,

The best being a mix of every need, physical,emotional, mental, visual

But in this world is there such a perfect mix

My soul wanders, my mind dreams

If there isn't then how does one live

Without turning resentful, without feeling disdain

How does one keep compromising with oneself

Why does one be selfless n the other selfish

How does one carry on without tripping over

Is there such a perfect being!!!

Tomorrow

The morning awakens us to another day of life

We wonder we hope we tread on

Will today be a new day just like the promise of tomorrow

What will it hold for us, neither of us know

We wake up with a smile, will it still be there when we lay our heads to sleep

We acknowledge we set forth we carry on like everyday

Hoping , not knowing what the day holds

Just hoping for a brand new day!

The kind that fills your heart with love

Your soul with contentment

A tomorrow that will become your today!!

Never say never!!!

When life's journey gets tough and the horizon seems far away

And varied thoughts cross your mind, a feeble voice saying give up

But deep in your heart search for the true voice that will tell you

Go on get ahead the road is rough but not ended

You can walk on it and flatten the edges ,
Someone else's journey might get better

There is always a way always .... Look for it till you succeed

Waking up to a brand New Day,Another day of living

What it has in store, Nobody knows

Yet we wake up ready to face a new day

With hope in our hearts, smiles on our faces

Hoping there will be no cloud of sorrow

That the day brings with it new reasons of happiness

Or just strengthens the old bonds of time 

Moving on each minute passes, become countless hours

Some of happiness some of pain

Somewhere someone is happy living a brand new day

Elsewhere someone cries in misery hoping the day to end

Diverse is life for every soul,Yet life it is that must go on

How do we know , what do we know what is life

Yet we pledge on holding onto faith that tomorrow will be
Jjust as one envisioned it

Lucky those for whom the day comes true

And for those that doesn't, luck seems to have been shadowed

But skies clear, clouds pass, storms stop raging, rainbows shine

Life goes on ,life waits for no one..

Worthy

Who is worthy of your love

One who is there for your tomorrow

Yet pains your heart every day

Or one who you see no future with

Yet brings you joy in unending ways

How can you decipher what is true and what is not

How are you to tell if love can be everlasting

When what started as happiness could turn to sorrow

And sorrow to immense joy

Love is a feeling that so easily breathes pain into your heart

Yet we associate it with happiness n joy

Love comes easy,love is free

Love crosses all boundaries 

Yet when it leaves it leaves you broken in every way

How good is love, how worthy can it be!

Breaking heart

How do you let go of a love you thought was true

When your heart's breaking into a million pieces

And the jagged edges pierce your soul

You feel the pain in every inch of your body

From your head to your toes

Fear n grief mixed together

Washes over you, sending shivers down your spine

You try hard to see the future but everything looks so bleak

Life suddenly seems empty

Your heart heavy laden 

Your mind wandering in circles

Your body standing still

Trying to take in the sorrow

Trying to move on
